This incomplete logbook of the brigantine Hannah details a shipping voyage from Newburyport, Mass., to Nevis in the West Indies, Nov.-Dec. 1801. The brigantine's home port was Newburyport; the owner and master was Charles Goodrich; the logbook keeper was Nathan Hovey. The logbook includes examples of poetry and sea songs.
